Esme Marfo is an alumna of The George Washington University where she earned her B.S. in Public Health with a minor in Journalism & Mass Communication. She gained her start in the online news industry as a staff writer for Affinity Magazine, where she composed a variety of stories centered around entertainment, music, trends, interviews, etc.Esme interned with Black Love Inc., assisting the editor on a variety of tasks, including but not limited to: transcribing interviews, fact-checking, organization, pitch story ideas, editing articles, etc. She serves as a contributing writer.She is a highly motivated, ambitious and hardworking individual with a strong interest in multimedia journalism, social media and writing.
